Honoured at International Photography Awards

"We Take Too Much From Mothers" (2022) by Rachel Nixon, part of The Garden of Maggie Victoria series.

I'm delighted to have won third place in the Fine Art/Collage category (non-pro) of this year's International Photography Awards!

The jurors honoured The Garden of Maggie Victoria, my series aimed at reviving the legacy of my great-grandmother. The series also recently received a silver award in the Prix de la Photographie Paris (Px3) awards @px3 . You can read more about how the project came together in this Behind-The-Scenes story. As an IPA winner, the series will be published in the forthcoming IPA Annual Book of Photography.

Additionally, my image Time is Fleeting, from my mid-life series A Song Yet To Be Sung, received an honourable mention in Fine Art/Other category of IPA 2023.

Thank you to the jurors for their time and consideration!
