Featured in Musée Magazine as an emerging artist

I’m delighted and extremely honoured to have had my work included in Musée Magazine Issue 29 among selected Emerging Artists.

The selected work is from my series “A Song Yet To Be Sung” which seeks to reframe mid-life womanhood and refute online ads targeting menopausal “flaws” - “apron” belly, “unsightly” wrinkles, “sagging” jowls and more.

Inspired by my own reality, the series proposes middle age and menopause as an intriguing accumulation of experiences.

It combines self-portraits with captures of seemingly mundane nature and everyday life. The lines and cracks included there all have important stories to tell, having emerged and grown over decades.

I made the series in 2023 during a time of self-reflection in southern France.
