Shortlisted for RPS international exhibition

I’m over the moon to be able to announce that my work has been shortlisted in the 165th edition of the Royal Photographic Society's International Photography Exhibition!

The shortlist, selected anonymously, was narrowed down from 5205 to 416 photographers from a worldwide open call. 

Four images from my series The Garden of Maggie Victoria are among the pieces under consideration for the final selection of 100 photographs which will be announced in September.  This selection explores themes of identity, relationships, religion, conflict, global cultural issues and the environment.

The IPE is the world’s longest running photography exhibition celebrating international contemporary photography. Each edition of the IPE invites a selection panel of leading voices in photography. The IPE 165 guest selection panel are: Àsìkò (visual artist), Louise Fedotov Clements (co-Founder of FORMAT), Siqi Li (visual artist), Dr Michael Pritchard (RPS director of programmes and photohistorian) and Raquel Villar-Pérez (curator).

The International Photography Exhibition 165 will be on display at the RPS Gallery, Bristol, UK in January 2024.
